Charity work
I have established an Educational Charity to further the understanding of the Great Projects that Richard Cobden and the Manchester Reformers were concerned with, such as the promotion of universal unilateral free trade, the promotion of arbitration over war, the abolition of a laws, such as the Corn Laws (and others) that protect privilege at the expense of the common man. The modern day campaign created in the spirit of the above Great Reformers is what I term "Honest Money." You can see more about this at the Cobden Centre on the following link http://www.cobdencentre.org/2009/08/a-day-of-reckoning/.
I am an Ambassador for the Opportunity Trust, a microfinance project that supports the lending of loans at Western commercial rates to people who are traditionally unsuitable to lend money to - they are often poor and illiterate. We provide the funds to get people out of poverty and become self sufficient. This is very rewarding. Anyone who likes an entrepreneurial charity should get involved.
